DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

The image actually started out as a brick wall that I was creating. Each brick
is an individual object and all up I think I used 22,000 bricks to create the
entire castle. I created the ramparts in a similar method to the way I created
the walls. The main building of the castle was also created this way. I had a
fair bit of trouble designing the towers because I couldn't create a texture
that would give the appearance of bricks on a cylindrical object. The sky
texture was finally decided on after many different attempts at finding the
right texture. The ground was made using a granite texture with a mixture of
reds and browns.
