IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

Cthulu awoke, and suprised everyone by pursuing a successful career managing a
rock group.


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

I used Moray for the basic cave, and C.Colefax's Splinc.inc for the tentacle.
The stalagtite/mite is a height field generated in POV from a spotlit pattern
and then adjusted in PaintShopPro.
It's a fairly simple picture (I have a baby, a cr*p PC and no patience), and the
long rendering time is really down to the media effects.
