===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Great texturing on the rocky hills. The layout looks ok. My only complaint would be the bridge. Where is it leading to? It seems to jut to left into nothingness. Also, despite your explanation, I see little in terms of "fowers, trees and statues." In other words, it's an interesting concept, but it doesn't translate well in the image. Aside from that good job. ===== From clintona@ibm.net: Very pleasing, artistically. The mountains/hills seem sheet-like in places taking away some of their believability. ===== From soulmates@gci.net: I like the scene. However, your choice of camera angle puts the focus on the bridge and the sky beyond, rather than on the garden. While this makes for a wonderful scene, it makes it difficult to score you well on concept points as we can barely see your garden. Oh, the birds are a nice touch, but they are pretty much lost in the distance. Keep up the good work. :{) ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: Cool athmosphere in this pic! I guess it's due to the contrast beetween the blue sky and the green "lake". the texture on the mountains is a bit too rough especially on the "arch". ===== From rbyman@rockies.net: This "looks" computer generated. And there is no visible garden. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Really liked the rock texture and the sky turned out great. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: Doesn't really seem like a garden, and the focal depth seems odd. I like the sky. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: The concept of garden is great, the image is, for me, on the cool side. Not enough warm hues to help balance it out. The birds are also to far away. I would not have noticed them if not for you pointing them out to me. I enjoy artist from Portugal. They have a philosophical, thought provoking, approach to their work. Although, I am not to crazy about the drivers there. Nevertheless and more to the point, great job but please dump the focal blurr in the foreground, this happens naturally when we view something anyway. ameede@madmac.com ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: It looks extraordinary that clouds may be beyond the moons ... very unrealistic be the visual effect is captivating. A nice broad concept. A nice picutre, except I don't like the rock texture that much at all, it does not really match the style of all the other elements. Nice. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - Good planet and moon work, as sun is in front of us we can only see their shadowed side. Artistically - Not Bad, birds are a nice touch. water arch cave, needs to come down at the edges and look less shell like (need inner and outer surfaces) Theme - hard to imagine that we are in a garden ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is a nice image artistically, with interesting colurs and textures. I'm not convinced by the topic justification though. The "garden" is simply too far away and not really visible - this looks more like a landscape than a garden. ===== From file: Nice view of nature Notable for originality, composition
