===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Looks good, and all the details are there, but overall I find it too sparse. Still, good job. I like the irregularity in the bricks and the 'weeds.' ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: sad, but nicely done ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: That's an original interpretation of the theme. too bad you didn't model a more complex cigarette packet, this would improve the realism of the scene, the plants seems too plastic also. ===== From no13@ozemail.com.au: If this image has more plants than the real thing maybe you should start a Japanese stone garden :) A little more dirt on the pavers and the ball would help what is otherwise an excellent _mage. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: I reall like the Fence and lighting ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: A nice idea, but needs more detail. More objects, more textures! All one really sees is the absence of plants, rather than what's there instead. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: ameede@madmac.com ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: So many present us with a beautiful garden, that a real plain garden appears unexpectedly appropriate in this round. You made a dnagerous bet, but you made a good bet in my eyes. I like the way you modelled the sand/earth with the stones and smaller and tiny versions of them. All the plants look pretty darn real to me, the bin, and many other details. Very good, very well achieved. Just a place I would not like to see though, looks bleak. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Hmmm... not inspired? ...a benginner? I can't believe! The light is a bit poor, but the scene is very well modelled (measure tapes are great!). ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: technical - really nice broom - very good! artistically- good! nice, clean image (not overly cluttered) theme - spot on. we've seen aussie gardens that look like that. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: A nicely done image. The paving is especially good, with the uneven surface and the weeds poking through - though a little colour variation and texture to indicate grime would help a lot I think. The dirt looks good, and the weeds are convincing. Compositionally a bit empty, but I suppose that's really the point. :-)
