===== From bill@apocalypse.org: It seems like a stretch for Gardens. ===== From YaelParis@operamail.com: some foot steps are missing, may be it's intentionnal but you didn't mention this. The lightning is somewhat strange and the scene lacks a background. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: The textures seem a little flat, and I'm not sure about the snow. The trees seem too angular. I like the texture on the birdbath. ===== From ameede@madmac.com: All right! well done, I am always hard pressed to judge all these works on their technical merits since every description I have read thus far on technique far surpasses my own abilities. The only thing I can see that I would entertain is adding more volume to your objects by increasing the shadow values. Typically when you look at an objects shadow you will notice that the shadow is darker where it meets with the object providing the shadow, then it decreases the further it gets away from the object. This is not a blanket statement to cover all cases of rendering form, but it has its place. ameede@madmac.com ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Nice. Although the snow would bear a lot more foot steps around the snow man if it wer ereal. A classical concept for a garden, but a non classical representation of one. Effective snow effect. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - nice work on grass through snow and snow on top of everything, good marks Artistic - a nicely done winter scene, pleasing to the eye Theme - definitely a garden in winter Artistic - Theme -
