That aside, the concept seems very original.  However the modeling is highly
devoid of signifcant detail.  Some of the textures look intriquing.  The
mirrored balls I like especially.

I think you might need to work on your jpeg conversion - 
it looks like you did a colour reduction before converting 
and it really hits the quality of the image.

At first I thought that all the items where 'within' a pool but just sunk down
to the bottom and then arranged by the figure to resemble a garden.

This dithering should absolutely avoided, it really trashes your picture.
It might come from the use of m$ pain: try the gimp or something else that
works!

This picture has an odd "low-res" quality about it and I'm afraid I don't
see much connection with gardens. Modelling and textures all seem rather
simple.
