The film effect on their skin looks to uniform - like 
plastic wrap instead of water.  The female's form looks 
very realistic though.  You should put the meshes on the 
web for others to use.

ripples around the bodies will improve the realism of the scene.

This is a really good trace.  Probably better suited to the "Human Nature"
competition than gardens.  You did excellent work on the vegetation but it is
lost to the viewer due to the characters.  I like a naked girl as much as the
next guy, and the alien is very detailed, but...for some reason I find it
difficult to focus on the Garden aspect.

Hey ! The topic is supposed to be the garden, not what you do in it !
If you really made the models yourself from nothing then I have to say you're a
pretty darn good artist. The textures are very well designed as well.
But I think this 'still' goes too much on the side of the subject.
I would not call this artistic by any means, suggestive yes, photorealistic,
pretty much so.

This is an odd image... the background trees and scenery look completely flat,
with the lighting being very low contrast and showing no depth. The body shapes
and textures are impressive, let down by that background. I find the black bars
distracting.
