===== From chris@bluelectrode.com: Darnit!!! You stole my idea...which luckily I didn't choose to do, since I couldn't have executed it as nicely as you did. I would only have done two things differently. First, I would have added more detail to the foreground table and garden/zen/sand box. And second, I would have placed the garden/zen/sand box a few units down on the table so it wouldn't look like the garden/zen/sand box is floating...sorry, had to point that out. BTW, it looks like one of the wood panels has a different wood texture. Was that done on purpose or is it some effect produced by the camera angle? Overall, far from a bad image. It looks like your skills are developing well. Keep up the good work. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: nice concept, though the wood grain of the table and the room in general aren't all that appealing. I would have liked more focus on the rock garden itself. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Good sand and interpretation of theme. Note...your sand rake is partialyy in the wood frame of the drybox. ===== From ianshumsky@hotmail.com: A very nice net curtain and a great concept. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: I like this a lot (ps. I think you over-compressed your jpg?). I'm not entirely sure about the textures - on the one hand it has a nice neutral feel, but on the other I want more to look at. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: That's a fantastic concept and I have to admit I like the realisation. The wood texture for the desk or table and the small table could have been better though. The curtain produces a very nice effect.. The plant behind the couch looks very photorealistic. Well done. Your concept payed well and placed you before a few other better crafted arts ... in my eyes of course. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Technical - simple but effective Artistic - simple but not unpleasant Theme - a different type of garden ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: A good idea, could use more detail. The light seems a bit flat, and the lack of any shadow around the glass is somehow disturbing. The rock garden itself looks good, and I like the magazine in the background. I think a picture of a more usual garden on the wall would have been a nice touch.
