Will the cheese be enough to get the attention of this strange animal ? By now, it seems more interested by the walls... Some extra description for trioker addicts only : (more info to come on my site) ------------------------------------------------ 1) A look at the tiles , and we can check that it takes 25 triangles to make the "POV" word (walls), so this is obviously a puzzle using the "Joker" piece. By looking carefully at the different heights of the walls, you'll get more than a clue ! 2) The presence of the animal makes the puzzle somehow harder. First, it touches one of the walls, so there are some new conditions to be respected. Second, it must be able to move around on the ground. Third : could it could escape the trap of the cheese ? 3) What about the columns : are they a clue, or a part of another puzzle ? DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: ------------------------------------------ columns are from Nathan G B O'Brien walls from Gilles Tran's macro The piece of cheese is from Christian Perle The grass is from the Grass plugin of Gordon Thanks you all for your talent ! Well, did I made any part of the job myself ? Yes : - I had to rewrite a big part of Gilles Tran's macro in order to make random holes in the walls, and to get the average heights I needed (for the 1st puzzle). - I also had to handle carefully the grass macro in order to not have my little animal nailed by the stems. - Made Mister Triangle with Moray and took the animal from another scene I had made six years ago (it was writen for the french ray Tracer luxart, so I spent some time just translating the whole code into Pov-ray language). - wrote a little macro to tile the ground by rounded triangles. - The fishing branch is just an union of three torus cut by planes. - Maybe one of the most difficult part of the work was to find a place to put my camera so that every part of the scene could be seen. I also wanted to suggest an imaginary line cutting the picture in two : it comes from the column at the center, then goes down the rope, then the left side of the animal, and crawl between the the tiles. - Not to be mentioned, I also had to imagine the scene, and to check all the Trioker puzzles inside it, wich was most painful.
