A different angle on the theme. (I actually wanted to do a similar image but
didn't have the time.) I very much like the grunge look to the image. It does
an excellent job depicting the city to be dirty. Tremendous attention to
detail. The motion blurred pedestrian really helps to convey the idea.

Very nice textures, and I like the use of motion blur on 
the legs.  A nice raggedness on the posters as well.  I'm 
not sure about the texturing on the drainpipe though... I 
think it could use a little work.

Excellent execution of a typical city scene. Attention to details is
superb, with nicely textured objects everywhere. The cigarette butts are
a good touch and work well. But it's that combined with the human tragedy of
the homeless and the indifference of the passersby that makes this such a
great image. The only thing this needs is the homeless person himself
sitting next to his sign.

excellent work. the simplicity is amazingly captivating. one minor comment (i'm
just being nitpickey) is that the drain grate should be larger and have a
darker background inside the drain. otherwise very impressive.
