===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: Nice advertisement... but what does this have to do with the city? Besides the fact that buildings are in the city. I like the architecture, it looks nice. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: Offtopic. Appears to have NOT been made specifically for the IRTC, but rather for a school project. It looks skillfully done, but doesn't seem to fit into this competition. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Hmmm... not much on-topic... anyhow, why all the image seems blurred? ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Cool buildings. Nice textures I especially like the stairs. However it looks more like a TruSpace 3D advertisment than a City. ===== From klynn@uswest.net: This is a nice image, but it appears to violate the rules of the IRTC. You don't tell us much about how the image was made, other than that you used TrueSpace. But it appears that the final image is a composite of 4 3D rendered images that were put together with a paint program. This is a violation of rule 5g, which says: >Images must not be enhanced or altered ('post-processed') by use of paint >programs such as PhotoShop(tm) etc. There are exceptions to this rule: >You may convert images to JPEG format. >You may add text information (name, title, email address, copyright. etc...) >to your image. >You may gamma-correct and contrast/brightness adjust the image. In other words, the final image needs to be the output of a 3D renderer, which may be converted to JPG, have text painted in, and have the gamma corrected; but it may not otherwise be altered or edited. Submitting any one of your images individually would have been fine. Just because it doesn't qualify for the IRTC doesn't mean that it is not a good image though. It makes a nice architectural "board". You might want to fix the drop shadows behind the images though. They are inconsistent. ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: Ehh, city..? ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: It does look more like a project for school than a work of art. They are nicely done buildings but it's hard to appreciate them the way they are presented. ===== From christophe.bouffartigue@libertysurf.fr: off topic. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Not sure how this fit the concept .... I got the feeling that this was repurposed work. ===== From tonyv@iafrica.com: I don't think that this 'image' has a place in this competition. But then, who am I to make that call. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: Nur ein Bau meint nicht zu mir "Stadt". ===== From file: Is this an advertisement or a piece of art? It seems you deviated from the topic heavily also...having a couple buildings is not a citThe photoshop paper curl and various other post-processed effects are rather ugly too. ===== From file: Really nice, but for me it looks like you want to sell something. ===== From file: Really nice, but for me it looks like you want to sell something.
