I kind of like this idea.  I like the look of the other buildings, the ones with glass anyway.  The right 2 could use work.  Also, the room is missing something... texture maybe?  Detail?

Your view out the window is great the buildings look nice. Improvements - Add a little texture to the furnature in the room as well as the carpet. Great idea on using a back drop.

Not a bad composition, but I think more detailed textures 
would be a big help  here.  The chairs seem pretty low
