===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: I like the way most of this looks. The street is too narrow though. The grass is too flat. I think the sky looks really nice. Also, the lights on the building to the left look very good with their shadows on the wall. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: Looking good. Maybe brighten it a teeny bit. Some of the text looks a little too computer-generated (the no trespassing notice, for example). ===== From tony@j4tb.com: I love the clock very real looking. The night sky is nice too. (You are right about the stars though. The road seems to clean though. I would have expected more trash around the old building. The porch light on the older building I would expect to create a brighter circle of light. The grafitti initials look like they have a white outline around the blue letters. If that were removed the grafitti would look loads better. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Some of my higer marks this round. Perhaps some cracks or potholes in the street where the construction trucks had done damage. ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: Well, that's what I would call a BRIGHT clock dial ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice contrasting concept. The far building looks a bit more naturalistic while the slum housing looks a bit artificial.... perhaps it is the textures. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: I loved this. Beautiful. ===== From tonyv@iafrica.com: Lovely picture. Seems a little dark though. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Very nice image. Immaculate modelling, effective lighting (though I had to boost the gamma a bit to see everything). A bit of concrete decay on the kerbside and the road would have added further realism, but maybe this doesn't really need it.
