===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: Why are the soldiers so fat? I like the normal people. The closer houses don't have enough detail. The same with the building that's on the left there. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: Use less ambient light to get darker textures I think. ===== From scarmig@ohmss.com: I really like your buildings! I agree that some better coloring would help but a good job overall! ===== From tony@j4tb.com: A very nice rendition of a mideval city. The temple and boats look beautiful. You probably could have gotten the same effect with people by putting a sphere on a cylinder or cone and varying the color. The figures are too small to see any details. The houses are well done realistic with a nice texture. The view through the tower window might look better if you toned down the ambience. A touch of fog would add a lot of realism to the picture. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: is it that the bridge has no keystones? ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice image... lots of detail... are those soliers larger than they should be... at least they looked like soldiers to me. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: I like the use of pastel colors in this scene, and it really captures the sense of over-crowding of a city. The temple does look very nice. The background buildings seem to have a bit too much sameness to them for my tastes... maybe just a few different-colored roofs mixed in would have helped? ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: This is quite impressive for still a long way to go. The city layout looks great, but could use a few more different buildings. The details like the bridge and ships are good. The white temple looks beautiful. The tower probably needs the most work - because it is close and dominates the image. The brick pattern obviously repeats, which is distracting.
