===== From loomsbury@yahoo.com: I really like this. Tell me how to do the lens flare effect, I haven't been able to find the feature in 3ds MAX. ===== From pmccombs@hotmail.com: Nice concept. Did you make it up? ===== From scarmig@ohmss.com: I love the idea and the picture looks really good. The quality is nice, but with the software you're using it should be able to do better on detail and texturing. The artificial sun is fine, but the halo around it seems unusually large and opaque. It looks very close to the city, as though it should be melting them. Visually though it's very eye-catching and you have a good use of color and contrast! ===== From tony@j4tb.com: A very nice ligting effect from the sun. A really cool concept too makes you think. Overall an excellent scene and made so simply. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Pretty cinvincing ===== From christophe.bouffartigue@libertysurf.fr: Nice concept. Nice image. I like it. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice looking image. I liked the explosion or energy source. The grid needed a more lived in look to connect to the concept of city. ===== From tom@tomandlu.force9.co.uk: Love the lighting. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Very colorful, and nice special effects. I also like the idea of a completely modular city. ===== From tonyv@iafrica.com: Eye-candy ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: To be honest, this doesn't convey the sense of a city to me... it looks more like a sci-fi cargo handling facility. However, this is very well put together technically - with no obvious repetition of elements, and this is one of the best artistic compositions of the round. A very beautiful image. ===== From file: Notable for originality, lighting
