===== From rjhansen@hotbot.com: Very impressive image.I don't know how realistic the terrain may be for the era represented, but it looks very good. Nice composition and concept! ===== From Stickgod01@aol.com: Although this is a great image, it's too bad the main part, the dinosaurs, wern't created by you(and a lot of other parts), . ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Very hard work! Nice too. The only but are the green tones, wich I see "too standard" (it's very difficult, I know). ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Incredible image. Your ferns are great. I particularly like your water. ===== From jd@surveyor.in-berlin.de: Nice indeed. One of the highlights this round. ===== From eallen@highway1.com: I like your attention to detail. For example, the way the grass doesn't grow all the way into the river. The ambient on your ground Dinos seems a little high. ===== From spencer@early.com: Well done. One of my top five favorites for this round. ===== From javaearl@hotmail.com: Very complex; really gives the whole "pre-historic" effect. ===== From warp@iki.fi: The disadvantage of using that technique for trees is that they don't cast shadows. For example the biggest tree at the right looks like it should cast a shadow on the ground and perhaps the river. You should have added rocks also to the ground, not only the river. Now it looks like someone had carried the rocks from somewhere else and dropped them there. The idea of the image is good. ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: Although I do not like scenes with dinosaurs, this one is really good, the trees and the dinosaurs look really nice. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Good composition, nice work with the plants, this mapping trick usually causes problems with the shadows, but you managed to avoid that problem :-) good detail work with the rivulet. ===== From jouni@mikrobitti.fi: Excellent work! The composition, texturing, modelling... You've managed a pretty perfect balance of the objects. The background and foreground objects suit well together, and even the plants are fairly realistic. Definitely one of my top 5 candidates. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Very pretty, and a nice scene overall. The dinosaurs looks good, and the mountains as well. The plant in the lower right corner looks pretty good, but could use some work to make it less regular, I think. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Good use of various tools to create the image. The stream banks are particularly well done. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Artistic - You have done a super job of creating an image of what prehistoric earth may have looked like Technical - Not much to complain about technically; a very nice job. Concept - Nice interpretation of the topic. ===== From file: i love the detail, and the mountains in the background Notable for modelling
