In a firey display of glory, the sun sets behind a small lake. Insects
buzz busily in the plants and a few birds sing their last songs of the day


DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 


I was trying to create a morning scene, but it didn't turn out well, so I
changed
the atmosphere to one of Vue's sunsets and tweaked until I was happy. I fiddled
in 
plant studio until I got a plant that looked like it would grow by a lake, then

imported that and made several copies. The forest is a terrain with a partially

transparent texture. The rocks in the lake are small terrains and the dead wood
is created fron Vue's dead tree vegetation. The dragonfly mesh is one that
comes with Vue. I placed two in the scene and fiddled slightly with the
textures.
The bird on the rock is from 3dCafe.com. Most of the work was in finding a
light
position and atmosphere settings that looked really good.
