IMAGE DESCRIPTION: 

The "Waterfall of Peace" , the recreation of the waterfall that human kind once
had on Earth in the 21st century, situated in the heart of Zeta Space Station
in Sector 43 or Alpha Centauri Solar Systems. The year is 8424 A.D. , 2 years
after the destruction of planet Earth.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

The entire scene was done in 3D studio release 4.0 in Dos mode. The textures of
the rocks and moss were created in photoshop 4.0. The birds were modeled in
Lightwave modeller. Simulated volumetrics effects were done via transparency
maps onto planes, due to 3ds4 does not support volumetrics rendering. The
distant trees on top of the waterfall were all mapped on planes.
