===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: stick with the medias, they look good. ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: So many people put so much effort into shaping a person that they forget to texture the skin right. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Didn't do much for me. The geometry/appearance of the components detracted too much, humans are hard to model. ===== From luisvaloyes@malditasea.zzn.com: very cool effects, specially the fog and the light. the entire scene is a little bit too dark ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Very nice for a "learning experience"! Keep learning! ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: I Hope that guy get saved! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice concept and good use of lighting. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: The light in your image dominates the picture making the other individual objects too dark to make out. You might want to tweak your ambient light a little. A good first time IRTC entry. ===== From whitey@telefragged.com: dark, needs more detail. why is the guy going out to rescue a sphere with a wig on? ===== From nitschk@ranke.be.schule.de: The atmosphere of this image is not bad, but the person looks to much like a doll. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Great work. Thanks for sharing the fog trick. I think things like this are half the fun of working in 3D. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Yeah cool light. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice concept, and the beam from the flashlight shining through the fog looks pretty good. I wish the boat and rescuer were a little less hidden by the darkness... it's hard to make out the concept of the scene without really looking for it. The texture of the water could use some work to make it seem more natural and real. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: The media is quite good, but you've got that black line on the horizon. The texture on the blob person needs a lot of work and details like no ears (not visible anyway), and flat hair which could have been chopped up a bit using the same method that you used to get the end of that plank jagged. And the sea looks amazingly calm for an area that's just had a ship wreck (presumably in a fierce storm). This is great work for a first entry. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: The fog and lighting effects are excellent. Wonderful sky. ===== From file: The realism in the modelling reduced the imact of this scene for me.
