Nice concept.  Perhaps having the ship on its side ... rolled over a bit would
have added to your theme.... it looks like the boat is afloat on the sand....

I liked the concept a lot. This was an original take on the topic, and
very well done. I especially like the blowing sand that conjured images
of past water. The vultures were a nice touch, too :-)

Great looking image.  You seem to have the hull of the boat back to front, 
the end where the nets are hauled up should be flat. And I'd some evidence
of a community/village on the shore would be good, as would vegetation on
teh mountains and sea bed.  An interesting interpretation of the theme.

At first I was hesitant, but those little clouds in the top right corner won me
over.  I think you have an excellent sense of composition.  The randomness of
the 'sea' created a start for the picture structure, but the boat and vulture
placement brings it together.  I think the mountains are _too_ low-res: note
the squares that you can see in them.  
The philosophy was a little heavy-handed, but that doesn't get in the way of
your picture for me.  (Side note: it might be a good idea to re-read and
spell-check your text files.)

Liked this a lot. perhaps the mountains need some work. The "sea" can be taken
as sand or dirty liquid. The boat is nice and "not perfect".
