===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: nice, althought the bubbles are aa bit large and there are a bit too many of them. i have seen the escher. ===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: if u didnt descript it I wouldnt understand... ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: Michael Hough's water tutorial is another good source of info. So is Gilles Tran, especially his Maketree, which also makes good branch coral. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Good idea but the result didn't do it for me. For one thing I had trouble getting a good depth perception. ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: Strange!! Still not very Escher like, if it was intended to do so... ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Too abstract for my liking. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your image has a very modern style to it. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: How did you do the brooch itself though? sPatch? Spline.inc? I like it. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Strangely coloured sea. But I guess the idea is interesting. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Very nice concept ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The brooch looks very good, if a bit large for anyone to wear. The ridges of sand look good too. Some of the bubbles are coming up out of the sand, and the texture on all the bubbles makes them seem too solid... more like glass marbles than bubbles. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: This is an interesting image, but I couldn't work out what was going on until I read the text file which defeats the object a bit. The image should explain itself and the text file just explain how it was done. You got some good results with the techniques that you used, it just didn't work for me which probably comes down to a matter of taste. A good effort. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: The picture sends my eye off the page - too many veritical lines? Also, I had no idea what to make of this image until I read the text file. Is there a way to bring the desciption into the image more? Maybe the eye needs to stay on the picture longer. . . But regardless, it is an intereting visual phenomenon that I didn't realize before this point. Nice concept!
