I think this is one of the better entries this round.  Despite the use of stock
textures, the image is well lit, nicely modelled, and well composed.  The color
scheme is nice too.  The focal blur is well used.

I really like the clock in this scene... the dolphin shape 
is very nice.  The shaping on the object at the top of the 
scene is good, but the wood texture could use some 
work... it makes the object look less real than it should, 
especially compared to the other objects in the scene.

The text file bored the hell out of me, you spent about 50 lines telling me
what I could already see from looking at the image. The whole text file could
have been summarised in about ten liens without losing any information. 
This is very good work for a first entry, especially the dolphin.  The render
time was way over the top possibly caused by not manually bounding some of your
more complicated CSG objects.  The area lights make a big difference to an
image
like this and sadly the places where they havn't been applied or have been
badly
positioned stand out and catch the viewers attention.  Keep up the good work.
When it comes to text files, let the image tell the story (which this one does
very well).

Nice start for a ray-tracing competition.  The text file helped quite a bit, but
I (personally) prefer the image to speak for itself, especially if it's
symbolic.  I really like the shadow of the chain on the wall.
