The best part are the clouds. They also appear to be the focus of the pic.You
did a great job of matching the lighting to them though. And those rails do
look interesting to model via csg.

Nice perspective! The sky quality is excellent, and the ship seems very

Does a good job of capturing the feel of sailing.  Nice 
work on the boat, especially the trailing ropes on the 
sail.  The sky looks great, but of course, using a 
photograph always helps.  Nice scene.

This is a great scene.  It has a hand painted look to it at first, then when
it's sunk in properly you see how realistic the sky is and how much like grass
the sea is.  Some good modelling.  The text file was too long and a bit too 
detailed and some bits you repeated.

Nice boat, and an excellent explanation.  Well worth reading.  
The composition doen't work for me.  I think the saving mark is the light in the
sail, because most othe aspects seem to muddle around visually in the bright
clouds off the bow.  The sky overwhelms the image with it's high contrasts and
activity.

I wish the sky had been modeled. Since it's so central to the image, use of a
photograph hurts the rendering for me.
