The lighthouse and the water, being the central foci of the image, were
also the superior parts of the picture. The rocks and houses could use a
bit more work for realism, but overall I liked the picture.

Excellent job on the lighthouse, and a very picturesque 
scene in general.  The only criticism I have is that the 
water seems a little over-rippled in the foreground.  Nice 
work on the rocky shoreline.

A superb first entry.  You've put this together so well, the simplicity of the
sky and the intricate detail of the buildings along with an interesting and
fairly realistic sea and rocks all make this a well ballanced and coherent
image.  
Improvements: The rocks could do with a touch more variation in colour, and
perhaps some moss and maybe a bit more shiny and wet looking.  And I think 
it just lacks a slight spark, so maybe darken the image a bit, have light
visible from within the white building and those lamps above the rocks and
from inside the lighthouse itself, but not so dark that we can't see the
colouration of the rocks and water.  
If all of your work is of this quality then I'll look forward to seeing more
of it in future rounds.

Very impressive for a beginner! Water, rocks and lighthouse all look great.
The buildings look a little flat and lifeless - the random brick positioning
is a good start, but they could use some layered dirt texture or a bit more
shadow somehow - especially the white one.

Great work in the objects.  I like the blobby water.  The color/size gradation
on the rocks is subtle, and brings the water and land together nicely.
