===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: Im so sorry too. ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: The fire was especially good. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: I should perhaps excuse myself from this since I had a hand in the rendering. It is a nice topical idea for the competition, bubbles didn't quite "work". Perhaps they need to be more transparent, water like. ===== From wagner-michael@web.de: This image is quite good. Quite good idea with those bubbles ... ===== From panthus@xtra.co.nz: Great flame effect. Perhaps there could be a light or luminous centre to each of the columns. ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: Very, very creepy!! brrr ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Interesting representation. ===== From douge@nls.net: 83 hours? Wow! I think the sky looks really good. The water texture looks good too. Any idea how many bubbles are there? ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your backdrop is very nice though I would not have known what it was without your description. I would have done a translucent image to be a soul. I must say I am very bothered by the render time and power used. It seems this image could of been done a lot quicker. The Pov-Ray community I'm sure could provide you with more efficient techniques. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: You've done you countrymen honor. If nothing else comes from this image it is still a work to be proud of. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Definitely different. ===== From angelaperry@webcombo.net: This is a very sad and haunting, yet beautiful, picture. The image is simple but artistic and technically well done. I like to see pictures with meaning behind them. ~A. Perry ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Yeah, yeah. Ok. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Moving and eloquent. I expect this work embodies the feelings of many.=20 ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The sky looks very nice, and the fire effects are well- done. Interesting concept. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: A beautiful image. The bubbles look like sand to me, I thought of it as sand rising from the sea bed. That render time's painful, you're lucky that it looks great just the way it is and doesn't need a rerender, any changes might spoil it. A fantastic image, thanks for sharing your art with us. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Weird.
