===== From elvish_archer@mailcity.com: I guess is there a shinkansen railroad? ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: My expectations, especially in the technical department, go way up when pricey commercial tools are used. Well done, especially the cat. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Excellent look although the table is a bit busy, more impact perhaps with simpler objects on the table, a single wine bottle and a couple of glasses. ===== From panthus@xtra.co.nz: The gathering birds look a little ominous and I think the room could be brighter inside. Excellent lantern and tablecloth and the way the light centres attention on the photo is very well composed. ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: Calm, quiet and beautifull. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice image. There is something inconsistent about the old latern and bottle and everything else.... perhaps needed an old dusty table and an old clock. ===== From douge@nls.net: Pleasing image to look at. A little too underlit for my tastes, but that's an aesthetic matter. The clock (and this really doesn't matter, but I got a kick out of it) has 13 hours on it, and is missing 1 o'clock. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Your image has a lot of really nice details in it. I particularly like the cat. It looks very real. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: I'm not necessarily a cat person, but the emotional pose of the cat in the scene really adds to the feeling... ===== From didieric@free.fr: The picture of the "just married" looks to much real compared to the general atmosphere. The all picture would be much better without it. ===== From whhale@nvl.army.mil: Tools... I need tools. ===== From alun.thomas@convergys.com: A very nice image (I particularly like the lamp) slightly let down by the cat. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: The table cloth is interesting ... The overall looks rather good. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice collection of objects... the lantern in particular looks very good. The background has a bit of a 'banded' look to it. Why does the clock have two twelves and no one on it? ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: A good looking image but you don't say enough about how you produced it. ===== From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au: Very nice - I wish I lived here! Maybe a bit too much contrast between the window and the very dark room. Modelling looks great. ===== From went@netcourrier.com: I think the camera should be more focused on the sea. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: The table and objects on the table are an _excellent_ still life. But there are a lot of directional lines going toward the windows, and the windows and the horizontals of the sea and sky lead the eye off the page to nothing. Maybe the lines should have pointed back to the center of attention. . . the picture or at least the table, right?
