===== From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk: nice idea, it could d with looking a little 'dirtier' ===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: Look into Gilles Tran's Maketree macro. You can make excellent branch coral and perhaps seaweed too. Take care, though, the results can be a rendering nightmare if you don't watch it. My machine has 96 MB and it nearly chokes on some of my creations. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Very dark and very hard to make out the content. Subject to a persons monitor gamma! ===== From a.vannini@mclink.it: Picture too much dark!!! Underwater colors are wrong in this image. ===== From panthus@xtra.co.nz: It is very dark down there, but I guess it would be, yes? I had to look twice to find the ruin part, if the fish from the top left sparkled a bit they could lead the viewer's eye to the ruin and provide a bit of light. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice atmospheric affects. Something about the scene makes it seems artificial.... ===== From douge@nls.net: Nice attention to detail. Good work on texturing. Something seems wrong, though... it could be too dark, or too dull-colored. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Overall the image looks good. The tall seaweed seems to cylindrical. A little chaos thrown into the seaweed would make it look better. The corral looks great though. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Very nice work on the coral. The image seems a bit dark but I expect it reall is dark down there. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Not bad at all. Very very dark, before modifying the contrast and brightness of the image all I saw was almost pure black. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Very pleasing, especially the sense of color harmony ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: A nice murky underwater feel here, and a nice scene in general. The coral looks good, if a bit repetitive in places. The seaweed looks somewhat odd in shape. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Good work, the text file was a bit too long for such a simple scene. I really like the atmospheric effect, but it could do with some bits floating around. Those look like rock fish. ===== From went@netcourrier.com: This image is really too dark. I can't see anything on my screen. But I guess it is nice :) ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Are nature and man separate? I always assumed that there was no separation, except for the claim by people that somehow reason is different from the rest of nature. Taken to an extreme, it is often said that reason and creationg are above nature. But actually, I think that they are the finest product of nature, which can be erased when there is no rational and creative activity, such as in a dead city. The light fading is very good in this scene, if a little bright. The eye is lead to the pottery up front, and the niddle building. The coral has a nice effect, and, again, the textures are great. Good work! ===== From file: This is very dark and subject to the gamma for ones monitor.
