===== From darwallace@earthlink.net: A better idea is a steaming teacup aboard a boat being affected by the waves. ===== From pbourke@swin.edu.au: Great idea but needs work. How about lower wave amplitude, more interesting room. ===== From dvnss@mega.ist.utl.pt: That is an expression that is not easy to visualize. Computers are the best way to do it! ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: Nice concept. water in the tea cup needed some work. ===== From tony@j4tb.com: Don't be too hard on yourself. The teacup and storm clouds look pretty good. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Great concept. The water texture looks fine to me. That's bound to be one good cup of tea! ===== From angelaperry@webcombo.net: Very creative idea :-) Don't be so hard on yourself. I think too much detail in the background would take away from the focus of the picture. An artist is always his/her worst critic. Good job! ~A. Perry ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: I find the cup pretty cool, but as you say the rest is not up to it. Very interesting interpetation of the theme. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Thought it was "tempest in a teacup" Sly use of the fractal. It is a nicel= y modelled teacup. And the "clouds" are strangely effective as teacup "cloud= s". ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Interesting concept. The teacup and saucer look very good. The clouds look nice, too... a real sense of fluffiness to them, although the containing spheres show in some spots. I think a different texture would help the water in the cup. The wood texture probably doesn't look bad from a distance, but given the amount of the scene it takes up, I think it could use some work to make it look better. ===== From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk: Love the cup, and the idea in general, you're the only one who thought of this. The render time seems a bit over the top for such an image. The clouds could do with having a darker patch towards the bottom making them look full and ready to burst. And all the other bits you already know about. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: It made me laugh. Thanks!
