He waited until night fell. Then he ascended. Now or never, tomorrow will be too late, he thougt to himself. After a lot of effort he was about to loose the cover when he was surprised by a lantern's beam. They had caught him in the act. When I first thought about this topic, I was resolved to not make a standard image of a laboratory, so I gave myself time to let the inspiration come. Finally the idea of the frogs' experiments in school, as I remembered them in the movies and TV, became the number one in the row. And if it colud be merged with a rescue operation?. Well, that changed the perspective and this is the result. I hope you like it. DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE IMAGE WAS CREATED: The scene was composed as it follows: First the recognitions: The frog is a sPatch model made by Anto Matkovick. It's a freeware model that you can find and download in his webpage http://www.geocities.com/ SoHo/Studios/7415/, aswell as other free models and some of the greatest tutorials ever made for sPatch. I took the frog (the original it's the one that is trapped in the jar) and duplicated it. Change the positions of arms, legs and head, and placed it with the jar and its cover to obtain the more accurated position of all of them. All these operations were done with sPatch and Hamapatch, even the exporting of everything to Moray. In Moray I builded up the scene. Most of the objetcs are CSG except for the tray, that was made with sPatch and the chloroform bottle that it's a rotational sweep. There are some image maps that were made using Picture Publisher 5.0, all exported as tga with alpha channel. The dissection of a frog is a scanned image from a Encyclopedia. The images are not stored in the zip file, but if you want them, send me an email and i will send them to you. I also used this program to add the my sign in the final image and a little adjust of brightness and contrast. The scene only has one spotlight, and it has been rendered using radiosity and antialiasing. That's all, folks. Espero hasta que se hizo de noche. Entonces subi_. Ahora o nunca, ma_ana ser_ demasiado tarde, pens_ para s_ mismo. Tras mucho esfuerzo estaba a punto de soltar la tapa cuando le sorprendi_ la luz de una linterna. Le hab_an pillado in fraganti. Cuando en un primer momento pens_ en este tema, estaba decidido a no hacer la t_pica imagen de un laboratorio, as_ que me di tiempo para dejar que viniera la inspiraci_n. Finalmente la idea de los experimentos con ranas en la escuela, como la recordaba de las peliculas y la tele, se convirti_ en la primera de la lista. _Y si se pudiese mezclar con una operaci_n de rescate?. Bueno, eso cambi_ la prespectiva y este es el resultado. Espero que os guste. Cog_ la rana (la original es la que esta atrapada en el tarro) y la dupliqu_. Cambi_ las posiciones de brazos, piernas y cabeza y la coloqu_ con el tarro y su tapa para obtener la posici_n m_s ajustada de todos ellos. Todas estas operaciones se realizaron con sPatch y Hamapatch, incluido la exportaci_n a Moray. En Moray constru_ a escena. La mayor_a de los objetos son CSG excepto la bandeja, que fue hecha con sPatch y la botella de cloroformo que es una rotational sweep. Hay algunos mapas de imagen creados con Picture Publisher 5.0, que se exportaron como TGA con su canal alfa. La disecci_n de la rana es una imagen escaneada de una enciclopedia.
