It would work if the poppy field was a faded, ghostly image, like a memory or forshadowing.... Technically - the sky rocks, the city looks perfect as the backdrop of the tank. However, the human skull has two big squarish dimaples, and the leg bone looks robotic. The texture on the tank looks painted on, try using the same image (grayscaled) as a bump map. Concept - I always associate Poppies with War and War with Death and Destruction. Good textures except for the smoke which seems too glowingly white. Good framing. Despite all the good things, though, I'm disappointed a little.
