===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: Well done. ===== From tim_cutho@smileyface.com: Cool effect, and well done on the painting, it looks like a real one. ===== From hgregory3@aol.com: Artistic - Nice, and effective Technical - Demanding technical work, well done. Good notes! I like your skyscrapers!!! Concept - A definite contrast, good story, and executed the same way I did mine (an out the window shot.) ===== From steve@neurotrain.com: A 17 T 18 C 20 Very well done! The overall layout is good, lighting is good. Technically you lost a few point because of the simplistic textures (the wood on the window frame especially). The "real" bldgs all look far too clean. I like the smoke or stain on the window over the tallest bldg ...nice touch, but you needed that everywhere. The 300+ year old Cathedral looks as new as the skyscrapers. The speckle that is on it looks painted on. Excellent concept - multiple contrasts everywhere ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice concept... I like the line drawing of the cathedral, especially since it's not an image map. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Very unusual way to make a "non image_mapped" image. Bravo. At first, I thought the sketch had a glass surface, blurrily reflecting the background of the museum. Something's wrong with the entire perspective of the scene, but I can't put my finger on it. ===== From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za: Great immage, but the wall texture some how detracts from the whole. ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: Try rendering this with a 2:1 aspect ratio at 1200x600 or so. Currently, the image feels cramped, since the frames around the two subjects of the image extend out of the picture. ===== From file: good concept. Notable for originality ===== From file: I love the watercolour - the texturing and the scaling of the real buildings lacks depth IMHO
