===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: Good stuff. ===== From hgregory3@aol.com: Technical - I like the tanks, they turned out very well ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Nicely done. Modelling, textures, light. Great job! ===== From steve@neurotrain.com: A 9 T 18 C 5 An excellent copy of a powerful image. However, had the filmer had the opportunity I think it would have been staged better (I'm guessing there would have been not street light in the way, at least) It is powerful because it was real. I think it would have been better if you had used the idea, but come up with your own interpretation, rather than copying the image. Techincally it is excellent! A couple of marks off for the person, but I would have taken off even more if it had been a Poser model. Concept - again, it is not orginal... ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The tanks and lamppost look good here. Any connection to the topic seems rather tenuous to me, though. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Great idea and modelling. But one major flaw: the standing figure is a little bit too large, compared to the tanks. This is the exact opposite of the impression you want -- the tanks should be imposing hulks which dwarf the lone person. A different point-of-view (low to the ground) instead of the unoriginal Associated Press view would help this. ===== From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za: Great recreation of that famous immage. One thing tho. The tracks on the tansks seem a bit too bright, but thats just me nitpicking. :) ===== From file: I love the contrasting symbolism... The only thing missing is the shopping bag the guy was originally carring. Those shopping bag spoke volumes about his feeling and defiance. Notable for originality ===== From file: very realiable. It make one to remember the real scene almost inmediatelly. jaime@ctav.es ===== From file: It's a shame the figure isn't better ===== From file: Ala "The Sims"? Aside from that, I like it. Reminiscent of old school CG. Notable for composition, modelling, textures
