===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: Nice metal. ===== From tim_cutho@smileyface.com: I think the mirror is hard to recognise as a mirror because it is perfect. most mirrors have maybe a bit of dirt, dome soft irregularities in the surface, things like that. It's a really cool picture though. ===== From raybonsal@peoplepc.com: One reason the mirror looks too real- because it is, it probably is 100 % reflective plus most mirrors are set behind a pane of glass. ===== From hgregory3@aol.com: Concept - A most interesting contract and very original! ===== From steve@neurotrain.com: A 17 T 12 C 20 Nicely laid out, great lighting. The big issues I see are the mirror looking like a box and lid and the impression of the Euro being on some kind of pedestal. To answer your question about the mirror, I think there are two reasons - 1. It is not framed like any mirror I have. The gold pedestal and mahogany frame make me think of a fancy case for jewellery 2. the curving of the wood reflection adds to the idea that the mirror is not flat (as most personal ones are) but concave - again making me think of a reflective box lid. Techically the picture is good, however due to the relativly few objects you had, I personally expect those objects done very well...specifically the frame of the mirror, and to be honest the whole mirror object. It doesn't look enough like an everyday mirror for me to immediately recognize it as such. Different models should have been tried..(if you did try different models and liked this one best I apologize). Excellent concept. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Interesting concept. Nice wood texture. The quarter looks nice, but would benefit from having milled edges. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: The mirror definitely looks like a mirror to me. And the Euro looks fine, but the quarter could be significantly improved by adding ridges around the edge. Also, you should have used a dollar coin, of course. ===== From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za: Love the concept. A bit less curvature on the mirror would have made it better. maybe a verly slight noise function...
