===== From charliemc@prodigy.net: If u say so. ===== From jrcsurvey@aol.com: Rich use of the deep grays and very convincing textures. Nice effect overall ===== From steve@neurotrain.com: A 16 T 16 C 18 Unfortunately the butterfly detracts from the scene. The wings are too long and narrow for me to perceive it as real (meaning it might actually be a perfect copy of a real butterfly, but it does not fit the mold of a generic buttefly) Also it appears you only used one light source. I think having another to the left of the flower, very dim, just to bring out the details pf the water/oil on that side would have helped. Technically ... The texturing of the flower is very good. The butterfly looks stretched... I like your interpretation of the concept ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: This has an interesting feel to it. I don't know that the concept comes across in the scene very well (I didn't realize it was metal until I read the text file.) Nice butterfly. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Sorry, it doesn't look like a deliberately metallic construction, it just looks more like a not-so-careful modeling of a natural flower. Features like screws, bolts, welded seams would help. Butterfly is ok, though. ===== From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za: Great light effects. If the edges of the flowers were better worked off, that would have been great ===== From fabien.mosen@skynet.be: Good idea, I like the way the butterfly is differencied from the flower. Some improvements could be a flower with a more "mechanical" aspect, a 3d butterfly, and a crispier lightning.
