I admit my immediate impression was: what a wacky 
piece of (pause) art.  As I stared at it I say the coke can, 
and then recognized flower petal on the water, and knew 
that the black stuff was actuallu a trail of something.  
then I noticed the blue tones on the btm and the white 
on the top.
I unfortunately take one point away because of the lack 
of defining line for the Yang symbol.  I honestly racked 
my brain trying to think of somthing that would fit, but I 
can't - the best I could come up with was something just 
under the water, vaguely discernable.

Technically a point was lost for the spherical smoke.  It 
looks great as smoke in the distance, but up close it just 
didn't cut it. Another for the rim around the lily pad...

Excellent concept

I didnt get the shuttle bit till I read the description.
The smoke was a bit hard to recognise too initialy, but 
thats due to the strange viewing angle.  Slightly more 
perturbed water would have given a hint that we are 
looking down.  Someting beneath the surface of the 
water would have helped too.

This is one of the best I've seen.  It gives that special feeling of surrealism.
 I love the way you used the calmness of the water.  The smoke looks beautiful,
even if it's not realistic.  I hope you win.
