===== From : Definitely get POV-Ray, then MegaPOV (currently 0.7). ===== From batronyx@cadronhsa.com: I picked up a copy of Simply3d v2 for $10 at Wal-Mart, played with it some. and found it hard to work with. I'm simply impressed with what you've done here. Good work! ===== From marlo.steed@home.com: Lighting needs a bit of work... red light doesn't seems to be coming from the torches. ===== From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu: Nice image, but do they know there's a bigfoot in there with them? Unless these are faculty from the Bozo school of Archaeology the footprints are hugely out of scale with their feet... ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: A good effort, and some nice work here. I like the carving on the rear wall, and I like the mood overall. The flames and smoke could use some work, I think. ===== From tom@tomandlu.co.uk: The composition is nice, but the lighting and flame need work, and some of the textures repeat. ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: For the ground real geometry instead of the bump mapping would have been good, because the shadows expose the fake. Furthermore, all things should have two shadows because of the two torches :-) The atmosphere looks good though. ===== From youknow@ucan.foad.org: This looks somewhat temple-like, but I'm not sure it's really very on-topic.The footprints are overly large in comparison to the people. Even by torchlight, I don't think the room would look so red. ===== From mark.wagner17@gte.net: Your signature on the lid of the crate/coffin/whatever blends in too well to be readable. Try using a brighter color next time. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: Nice work. If you don't have the patience to learn to code directly in POV Ray, think about trying Moray. It is the modeller that works with POV Ray. You can still tweak your scene in POV Ray, but Moray takes care of a lot of the coding for you.... Just a thought :o) ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Epistemology: What good would it do us to dig into these tombs? Is it an investigation the illusions of their own worship, or is it an investigaton of some illusions of other cultures, and really not getting past the question? Axiology: Is this worship, or a disregard of the significance of the worship of other cultures? What is it, then, that is worshipped? And why? Ontology: Empirical risk and discovery is more important than a priori discussion? Hmm. . .
