This has a very nice feel to it, mainly due to the colors 
and the violet lighting. Good use of simple shapes to 
build a complex backdrop for the throne.  Nice flowers, 
but the shape of the garland itself seems fairly rigid, and 
the flowers cut into each other in a few places (most 
noticably where the red flowers meet the yellow ones).  
The tree trunks do seem unnaturally straight, as you 
mentioned.  Still, a very nice scene overall.

Congratulations, it came out very well. I really like
the rose garland. The only nitpick it that
some of the jewellry and clothing intersects the figure. The beads
and roses also seem to be closer together at the bottom.

I think I might have chosen a more neutral wall color -- or
is the purple from the light itself? Very ornate as I would
expect from an idol of this sort.
