===== From : I was a newbie at this too. Keep at it. ===== From batronyx@cadronhsa.com: The clouds came out rather well don't you think? ===== From tony@awmcs.net: awsome images. I like the moons and the flames particularly. The person needs a little work. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: The moons look good, and the lamps have a nice shape. The flames look pretty good too. Overall, a nice if somewhat simple scene. ===== From jsimpson@acm.org: nice graininess in the atmosphere ===== From chris_hormann@gmx.de: Nice - apart from the pyramids' texture. :-) I also wonder a bit about the graininess in some parts of the picture. ===== From youknow@ucan.foad.org: The sand seems unusually xanthic, perhaps an artifact of the alien setting. Sand is rarely that flat for that far; some distant dunes at least would have been good, nearer pileups optional. I'm wondering why you made the pyramids as meshes. They look fine (well, they look shingled, but that may be 'fine'), though. The moons are nice. ===== From albiaprime@aol.com: You did a lovely job on the 'lamps'! Don't be discouraged at only using primatives and unions, differences, merges etc. a lot of very complex objects can be created using just those. It's organic stuff where you really have problems with primatives and have to resort to meshes, splines and nurbs.
