The walls of the castle are so thin they don't look like 
they could have been made from sand.  Additionally, the 
corners are too square.

The lighthouse appears to be on the same scale as the 
sandcastle.  Try moving it much further back in the 
image or making it larger.

The sandcastle itself is a bit too squared off but I
do like the sand underneath it and the half-buried
bucket (and the little boat).

How does this relate to the concept of fortress?  A fortress is not an object
that resembles a castle. . . they may be two different ideas.  

The notion of relaxation could be understood as a fortress, too, though that is
not as evident visually.
