===== From kingofmycastle@gmx.net: Nive view. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: As an alternative to uv mapping with one big image, you could use straightforward texture mapping on the square sections, and separate cylindrical maps on the round towers. Start with an image of a grid though, so you can see what it's really doing. (I don't know if you can do this in Moray, or only in the final POV file.) ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: The idea of "fortress" requires a dialectic between the protected area and the thing or person trying to enter. The crow in the foreground did an excellent job of making the viewer seem like the intruder, with the crow as a gatekeeper (I do not know if it was intentional, but it does not bother me either way). The gesture of the bird is the similar to when a bird looks at you, and the wings-out posture is a threat. The castle and portcullis are only static symbols of defense; the crow symboloizes the dialectic, and brings the image to life.
