DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 1. The co-ordinates for the legs, proboscis and feelers were generated in Worm V0.05A by Robert Flores. These were then smoothed into objects using CTDS V3.0 by Trueman Brown. 2. The body and eyes were generated using Spike V1.0a by Bob Crawford. 3. The web I created with a piece of Qbasic code. It simply calculates equally spaced co-ordinates around a circle and joins each point to every other with cylinders. I posted the code with my 'Fortress' entry last round. Yes, I know, spiders have 8 legs! It just looks a little cramped with too many legs. Besides, would it look any more spider-like just because it has 8 legs? I'm using a little artistic licence - it's an specis unknown to science (until now!)
