JPGFILE: campanil.jpg ZIPFILE: campanil.zip RENDERER USED: Megapov 0.7 TOOLS USED: Moray for Windows 3.3, Hamapatch 2.4, Poser 3, Objuvpov, Photoshop 5.0, Megapov 0.7 Editor RENDER TIME: 25' 30'' HARDWARE USED: Toshiba notebook, Intel Celeron 647 Mhz, HD 7 Gb, 64 Mb ram. Never Never Land. In the hold of Captain Hook's ship. Late at night. Captain Hook: Hoo, Hoo, Hoo. Now I know where Peter Pan's shelter is. Thank you very much. Tinkerbell: But, what about Wendy Darling, we have a deal. C.H.: Nonsense. I only want to catch Peter Pan, and throw him as food for the sharks. T: You have fooled me, bastard. Poor Peter... Set me free. C.H.: You're dreaming. Shut up!!! T: Oh, no!. -Image- DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE IMAGE WAS CREATED: I made the hook and the shirt of Captain Hook (only a little portion of the shirt is visible) and the lockpad with hamapatch and exported them to Moray as Bicubic Patches. In Moray I made the cage, the stairs, the hold walls, the barrel and the wooden box, using references lately to compose the scene. They are all CSG objects. Tinkerbell was done in Poser 3, using the ultramorph woman by Confusius. The hair is a free prop found in renderosity created by Underdog, and the wings (also free) come from Thorne. All the image maps were retouched in Photoshop. In Poser I did the morphings, the pose, and the face expresion and exported each group of objects (the body, the wings and the hair) as .obj files. Then I converted all to mesh format with UV mapping using objuvpov. After a little manual editing, everything worked OK. Was very helpfull the Gilles Tran's tutorial 'using UV mapping with povray meshes' The gloden dust of the wings is made with 3 glows with turbulence. The textures were made or edited in Moray. There is one pointlight with fade power and distance inside the cage, and another a bit orange far behind the camera. Ev'rything is inside the zip file, except for Tinkerbell; copyright questions. It was rendered with antialising 0.3. Photoshop was used to add my signature. I hope you like it. That's all folks. Txemi Jendrix inspiriens 2001. To Tom Melly, he knows why. Without them it wouldn't have been possible to make this image. C: Me has enganiado, bastardo. Pobre Peter ... Liberame. C.G.: Estas soniando. Callate!! C.: Oh, no!
