===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: I've seen photographs that don't look this realistic! Awesome. ===== From edward_dixon2001@yahoo.com: Very nice image, certainly looks as though you like your old masters. ===== From dooby@breathemail.net: Very photo-realistic. Incredible detail. I like the brick texture on the fireplace. I've had this image as my Windows background for about a week now and I'm still noticing new things in the picture! ===== From elias@users.sourceforge.net: Absolutely stunning Picture! Artistic Merit: I was looking a long time on this, and the longer I think about it, I just have to give it maximum artistic points. No artist could have done it better. Ok, a point off for not having a spell casting wizard in it -> 19/20. Technical Merit: 20/20. What should I say, the work you obviously must have put into all the objects, the lighting, the photo-realistic look, the window, the floor and chair,... it's technically perfect to me. Concept, originality, interpretation of theme: Personally, I don't consider this very original, an alchemist's room.. I give 16/20 points. ===== From fmurr@free.fr: Nothing to say but wonderful. Your english is at the same level as your picture;-)don't worry. ===== From tlyons@gnn.com: hmmmmm , it wants a forground focal point, but it good as is. ===== From zebu@pingou.linux-site.net: Maybe too "lifeless", but a great pic anyway ===== From jesseh@softhome.net: Very nicely populated, a little... clean looking, however. ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: Your image does have a lot to offer. It is interesting to look at, regardless of the mistakes in lighting (it is obviously a very close light source) . . . I wonder why. Nice objects and textures, especially the consistent color scheme. Good use of theme - not cliched, even though within the expected range of interpretations. Citing the artists is nice. It seems like everything is obligatory in Teniers' compositions, not simply the lighting. Mysticism can be seen as the most advanced exploration of science previous to the current views of science, though eccentricity is also connoted. This image, and your explanation, made me curious to find out more about the image. Thanks! ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Very impressive. Nice job getting the lighting and shadows to work so well. I love the painted brick look of the walls. One very small distraction is the look of the pages in the books on the shelves. Excellent scene overall. ===== From bballweber@austin.rr.com: nice brick texture, very realistic.. ===== From davidbridge@msn.com: A great image; so much going on. I keep going back to find something new that I'd missed on previous studies ===== From file: This one is great, the wall textures are wonderful, there are a couple of faults, like in the wood window on the right, and the leather in the chair (it looks like plastic), but on the average it's very good with a fullhouse of details. Notable for textures ===== From r@nchass02.telenet-ops.be: Lot's of details , i like that Notable for modelling, textures
