===== From edward_dixon2001@yahoo.com: Not bad overall impression, but the tower needs more detail. Ditch the phong on the tower, or modify it extensively - something that large and old should not look that smooth and featureless. ===== From dooby@breathemail.net: This image is very dark on my monitor. Could hardly see the dark figure ===== From elias@users.sourceforge.net: I like this. Are there actually some people inside the sphere? It's hard to see at that size. If I'm right and it are people, I suggest you move them to the front, and maybe make the sphere a bit bigger in relation to the image rectangle. ===== From tony@awmcs.net: Its pretty amazing you were able to contain the land in the sphere. I would have been interested to see the code for it. ===== From fmurr@free.fr: Try Blender it's free ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: There is a large area of dead space in the image, which, while intended to give space to the lighter areas, and draw the eye to them, still needs to be incorporated into the whole. Film noir movies used the same trick, but filled the empty areas with lines and shadings. Good work with symbolism, however. ===== From StephenF@whoever.com: Nice reinterpretation of the cover art from the book. Good use of color. ===== From file: There is too much dark background, the dark man is almost unapreciable. the landscape in the cristal ball is very small, i almost lost the people, The frontal reflection on the tower doesn_t look well, it makes me think of titanic (really it reminds me of some kind of battleship as seen from the prow) otherwise it_s fine.
