===== From jaime@ignorancia.org: A bit dark on my monitor, but very nice. Great ambience... ===== From dooby@breathemail.net: The bookshelves and books are very well done. The lighting is good and makes the whole image very atmospheric. The eyeballs are cool! ===== From kantell@qup.com: This needs to be lightened up. I really want to see the interesting things in the mage's room. ===== From elias@users.sourceforge.net: Thanks for the note about the books in the top-shelf.. I played around with gamma/brightness/contrast in PSP, but it never looked good.. until I read that note and adjusted the brightness so the top-shelf just got visible. Now the lighting looks quite good. ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: Spiral candles are 1950's machine made invention. ===== From tony@awmcs.net: I think your image turned out great maybee a few lines of text on the open book. ===== From zebu@pingou.linux-site.net: That's a winning pic! Love it! Great lighting, nice work with lathe & CSG... ===== From delfeld@mailcity.com: 3D circles viewed at an angle are ovals; an oval composition is essentially linear (bent horizontal stripes); linear composition has the tendency to lead the eye off the page. Also, with light used to draw attention to cetain areas of the image, high-contrast is taken to be directive. . . thus the bright corners tend to draw the eye off the image, also. The theme is week, since I (at least) ask, "Why would I want to look at a mage's room?" It is just another place until it is given visual meaning. ===== From file: Good scene, a bit deserted, laks some focus and the tiny bit details that make things look real.
