Both supsprays used a rate of 10 and both used instanced geometry as their particle type. The geometry I used was a sphere that I manipulated using soft selection and meshsmooth. I changed the seed of the 2nd superspray so they had the same settings but looked different. The materials I used had falloff maps in the diffuse color, self-illumination and a cellular bump map. For the blue bacteria, the diffuse falloff map was perpendicular/parallel type with bright blue and a second falloff map in the first slot. This was the same as the first falloff, but has black in the first slot and deep purple in the second slot. To give them a glowing look I used another falloff map inthe selfillumination slot. Here I used black for the first slot and a bright blue for the 2nd slot. For the green material, I used the same material, but changed the colours.
