You've managed to create a pretty realistic looking scene.  The wood texture
could use a little work.  It looks too artificial compared to the rest of the

Some nice work here.  Bullets and other objects look 
good.  I like the reflections in the pot.  The solid band of 
shadow down the left side of the table seems a bit much 
to me.  Not really sure what the artist is trying to say 
here.

What's the symbolism of the ammunition, though, particularly with the
stamp it has?  Surely someone who has kids isn't going to leave any
randomly lying around on the kitchen table, so it's got to be symbolic
of something.  The terrorists didn't use guns, so what is it?  The text of
the newspaper is kind of bland, and I think perhaps you could have
used the writing there to clarify your intentions with the image.

Extra points for using a picture you took yourself.  The three locks
and the peephole are a nice touch for a New York apartment.  You're a
masochist to have put a reflective object right where it would require
you to model the rest of the kitchen, but it turned out well.
