The texturing on the moon looks very realistic.  The darkness of the scene contributes to setting the mood, however it also makes details much harder to see.

The warship looks nice.  The scene seems rather empty 
to me.  I wonder if more attention could be drawn toward 
the periscope of the submarine somehow, since I didn't 
notice it until reading the text file, which takes away 
from the concept of the scene.

Very nice.  I like it.  The edge of the moon is a little too sharp,
and perhaps there ought to be a few more stars, even with a full moon.
