        The rose has some nice work on it.  The reflection in the window is also
good.  However, the background looks too simplistic, and more like flat 2-D
cardboard cut outs.  Also is the building in the background a large house?  It
looks like it could also be a prison, hard to say as there is not much
indication.
        Inside the current room we are looking out of, the textures of the
bricks are far too small.  Unless your rose and window belong to a giant. 
However, the over all theme is nice, and good story as well.

I like the horse and buggy. The snow effect is done 
well. The texture for the snow is to uniform. The white 
breeze from the crack of the window glass I think takes 
away from the scene. Maybe if it went off scene to the 
right it work better.

Good idea.  The bricks framing the window seem to have a problem of scale, in
addition to not suggesting that we are looking out from indoors.  I didn't
understand the whole cracked window part.
