This is a nice idea and the scene's quite good ...but the lighting looks wrong.
there's a red light coming from the right of the scene behind the camera and no
light from the fire. in fact the fire is very dim indeed.

With a big yellow area light in the fire place this scene could look really
good.

        An interesting image.  The falling snow is a good effect, but seems to
fall short of realistic behavior here.  There should be a white gradient in the
background as the falling snow creates a more dense view the farther we look
back.
        Perhaps it_s the settings on my monitor, but the scene looks a bit too
dark/red.  Nice attempted at the fireplace, but the image on the wall is
surrounded by red bricks?  The pieces of wood need some better texturing, they
look like some poor procedural type.
        You may want to add some ashes in the fireplace, as well as integrate
the fire with the wood more realistically.  But the other items seem very well
done.

I like the idea of a nice cozy fire. Need better textures. 
And the lighting of the wall and floor makes it look like 
the wall is on fire to.

Too red and hazy.  Difficult to make out. Shouldn't the fire produce some light?
 Seems to have some good models.
